Small Groups

After an incredible Summer, we are changing things up for the fall.  This fall, we will be offering two women's small groups, two men's small groups, and one or two co-ed small groups depending on demand.  The best way to get plugged into the community at Shoreline is to join one of these small groups.

 

Men's Small Groups

The Gospel of Matthew

We will be going through the book of Matthew to better understand who Christ was in view of his relationship with God, the circumstances of his birth and life, the message he brought and the examples he gave. The purpose is to better understand God’s view of life, true contentment in a fallen world, the things that stand in our way of peace with Him and Christ’s example in staying faithful to God. That’s a lot of stuff, but we have all the way up to Christmas!

Get to Know Jesus

We will be learning about what the Bible has to say about the most important person in history, Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to deepen our relationship with God by increasing our knowledge and understanding of God, revealed through Jesus.

Biblical Solutions for Problems Women Face

Covering issues from gossip and hurt feelings, to vanity and trials, we'll be using a book by Martha Peace that directs us to God's sufficient Word to help us deal biblically with these and other issues that we as women face today.

Sermon Based Study

Co-ed Small Groups

2 Thessalonians

This is an informal "inductive" type study, in which we will study between 5 and 7 verses each week in depth. We will be exploring Bible study techniques, and there will be a short amount of "homework" each week. It is ideal for those who are ready to learn about how to study the Bible by studying one of its books.
